COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our History
The history dates back to the 1980s where the Founder established his business as a sole distributer for large Japanese manufacturers, distributing floppy disk drives all over Asia. The Co- Founder on the other hand was in the business of trading textiles, nylons and polyester yarns to garment manufacturers, such as sock makers. The markets served included New Zealand, India, Australia, and Bangladesh. Although the textile industry has slowly faded throughout the decades, it is proudly still part of our continued business today.
During the late 90’s, business in technology sector continued to grow as advancements of the commercializing of desktop computers, hand held devices and internet did as well. As a result, many of the computer manufacturers’ demands for computer components were consistently changing. Due to the ever changing demand, the Founders decided that the new direction of the company will transition into supply and trading of natural resources in the forestry and agriculture sector.
With the abundant supply of lumber in British Columbia, Canada, the Founders were able to develop a strong presence as a successful exporter, during the 2000s, trading lumber, SPF and red cedars. Canada and United States were also large producers for agriculture commodities for both food and feed in domestic and export markets. Our Founder developed close relationships with North American farmers and Exporters and had a reputation as a reliable and humble businessman. The commodities exported included alfalfa, Bermuda, barley, corn, and seeds. Most of the items were bound for overseas dairy farms as feed.
As the years went on, the sales team grew and so did the supply chains and customer base. During this time a new sector was established for metals and industrial chemicals. In the past decade, the metals division has become our core business, while also maintaining all the other businesses in other sectors, agriculture, forestry, and chemicals. We work with mills, yards, and consumers both domestically and internationally. Markets served, includes Asia, North America, Middle East, Europe, and South America, supplying the materials our consumers need on contractual basis.
